Cultural

At Balmoral School, we take pride in encouraging all students to share who they are and what their culture means to them. Our friendly, respectful, and inclusive environment is the essence of our school.

Our incredibly diverse culture is empowered by both our students and staff members. We strive to look beyond what is in front of us, nurturing opportunities for our students to be proud of their roots and cultures. Inquiry is the foundation of our school, providing a unique platform for our students to reflect on who they are and take pride in themselves.

We offer numerous opportunities for our students to connect and lead. An example of this can be seen through many of our clubs like Pasifika Cultural Group, Irish Dance, Indian Dance, and Kapa Haka. We also acknowledge and celebrate various cultural events such as Waitangi Day, Lunar New Year, Eid al-Fitr, Easter, and Pink Shirt Day. Different yet connected, we respect our differences and celebrate our unity.

At Balmoral School, we believe that culture is the heartbeat of our community. We are committed to fostering an environment where every individual can thrive, connect, and take pride in their unique identities.
